The Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School Community is recruiting a transformative music educator. Wintergreen was named a School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America The vision at Wintergreen is “to provide all students with a safe and nurturing environment that immerses each student in the arts, grounds them in restorative behaviors, and engages their minds to ensure academic and personal success”.
Teams work collaboratively to plan out content and to build skills that support the examination of themes throughout each subject area. Teachers who have a professional background in the arts, project-based learning, social-emotional learning, and/or STEAM education would be a great addition to the program.
ACES Wintergreen Magnet School is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Music Teacher, specifically for general music and choral instruction. The ideal candidate should be versed in both choral and instrumental teaching, familiar with elementary and middle school age students and able to connect with both students and families.
The music position will require coordinating and leading performances and other school-wide events. A passion for sharing the love of music, integrating music in other curricular areas, and utilizing new technologies is preferred.
