Experience: We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, positive individuals who are excited about bringing Rocksteady Music lessons to children. While music curriculum experience isn’t essential, the ideal candidate will have a background in selling into schools and Trusts and be confident to deliver compelling presentations that inspire and influence. Most importantly, they must have strong experience working with schools and/or Trusts and a solid understanding of how their decision making processes operate.

Rocksteady Music School is the UK’s largest rock and pop school. We teach fun and inclusive in-school band lessons to primary age children. Our mission is simple: to amplify children's self-belief and remove barriers to music education. We’re currently in thousands of schools in the UK, teaching tens of thousands of children every week – and we’re growing fast.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Education Partnerships Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and building strong relationships with school academy trusts, music hubs and other businesses to promote our music education programs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for music education, and experience of selling at c-suite level.

This role will require frequent travel to client sites, so the successful Education Partnerships Manager must be happy to work in a variety of locations and spend time on the road, including occasional travel to our offices in Hampshire and Birmingham.

As a Education Partnerships Manager for Rocksteady you will:

  • Act as a passionate and confident ambassador for Rocksteady, representing the organisation at trust meetings, SLT sessions, school visits, and national education events and conferences.
  • Deliver compelling presentations that inspire and influence, confidently holding the room whether in small leadership meetings or large conference settings.
  • Identify and unlock new partnership opportunities across multi-academy trusts and school groups, taking a proactive and strategic approach to growth.
  • Build and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with multi-academy trusts, schools, and local music hubs
  • Lead engaging, high-impact conversations with senior education decision-makers, clearly and persuasively communicating the value and impact of Rocksteady’s music lessons.
  • Take ownership of lead generation- sourcing, qualifying, and progressing new opportunities.
  • Convert opportunities into sustained, multi-school partnerships, embedding Rocksteady programmes across trust networks.
  • Maintain a well managed pipeline, ensuring timely follow up, accurate communication, and steady progress toward sales targets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handovers, high quality onboarding, and excellent ongoing service.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and positioning, using their support to create tailored presentations and identify key events you should attend.
As Education Partnerships Manager for Rocksteady you’ll need:

  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to engage confidently with senior school and trust leaders.
  • A natural presence and enthusiasm when presenting, with the ability to articulate the value of Rocksteady clearly and persuasively, with a genuine passion of the benefits for children.
  • A genuine passion for the power of music in education, and the ability to translate this into a compelling, persuasive message.
  • A proactive mindset for generating leads, building networks, and seeking out new partnership opportunities.
  • A strong understanding of the education sector, including knowledge of the Ofsted framework and the ability to stay up to date with changes in legislation and policy affecting schools and trusts.
  • Confidence in organising and leading meetings and presentations with decisionmakers, both in person and online.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills to keep information flowing between schools, trusts, and internal teams.
  • A supportive, partnership based way of selling that grows trust and creates meaningful long‑term connections
  • A full UK Driving License

  • Fuel card included in addition to salary ( UK/EU Driving Licence and own transport is an essential requirement for the role)
  • Long service award: an additional 4 weeks’ pay after 5 years
