Shakopee Public Schools is looking for a 0.33 FTE Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Shakopee High School for the period of 9/28/26 to 6/3/27. This position will teach Music Production 1 & 2 which introduces the students to the fundamentals of creating, writing and recording music. The courses will cover the roots of popular music, basic music theory, beginner songwriting and an introduction to sound recording.
Shakopee High School is an Academy school focusing on post-secondary planning which include trades, careers, and post-secondary education. We are looking for instructors that are highly motivated and looking to engage students as we prepare students for their future. Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability and creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.
Pay & Benefits Information (if eligibility requirements are met):
Salary ranges from $17,166.60 to $41,900.43 annually, depending on education level and experience.
