Job Description

Title: Music Assistant, Part-time - Soprano Section Leader

Reporting to: Music Director

Location: Ave Maria Parish | Ave Maria, FL

Ave Maria Parish is seeking part time skilled Soprano section leader to support the parish music program.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sing at all scheduled liturgies and rehearsals.
  • Additional parish liturgies and events as needed
  • Provide strong vocal leadership within the choir
  • Assist in leading sectional rehearsals when required

Qualifications

  • Experience singing within the Catholic Mass and understanding of its liturgical context
  • Proficiency in reading both modern notation and Gregorian chant (square notes)
  • Comfortable singing in both English and Latin
  • Strong musicianship, reliability, and professionalism
