Job Description

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a full-time musculoskeletal radiologist for the clinician educator or clinical practice academic tracks

• Services provided to Vanderbilt University Hospital, a Level I trauma center and Vanderbilt Health outpatient centers
• Teachmedical students, residents, and fellows
• VUMC has a busy and growing Orthopedic Surgery practice, including:
  • Level I trauma center and tertiary referral center
  • NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and NCCN Member Center
• Focus on well-being, with a culture of collegiality, collaboration, & creativity
• Daily clinical work includes interpretation of diagnostic studies and image-guided intervention
• Opportunity to grow and persueprofessional interests
• Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology (or equivalent)
• Hold an MD or equivalent degree
• ABR eligible/certified
• Eligible for Tennessee medical license
• Comfort/willingness to perform routine fluoroscopy/CT/US-guided procedures
• Participation in multidisciplinary conferences
