Job Description
The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a full-time musculoskeletal radiologist for the clinician educator or clinical practice academic tracks
- Services provided to Vanderbilt University Hospital, a Level I trauma center and Vanderbilt Health outpatient centers
- Teachmedical students, residents, and fellows
- VUMC has a busy and growing Orthopedic Surgery practice, including:
- Level I trauma center and tertiary referral center
- NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and NCCN Member Center
- Focus on well-being, with a culture of collegiality, collaboration, & creativity
- Daily clinical work includes interpretation of diagnostic studies and image-guided intervention
- Opportunity to grow and persueprofessional interests
- Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology (or equivalent)
- Hold an MD or equivalent degree
- ABR eligible/certified
- Eligible for Tennessee medical license
- Comfort/willingness to perform routine fluoroscopy/CT/US-guided procedures
- Participation in multidisciplinary conferences
