The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is recruiting a radiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position. Primary clinical responsibilities will be based at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
This position will provide comprehensive coverage in Musculoskeletal Radiology within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment. UF Health Shands is a Level I Trauma Center and major referral center with full subspecialty representation and advanced imaging capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
Musculoskeletal radiologists primarily practice at a free-standing outpatient center supporting busy Orthopedic Oncology, Sports Medicine, Upper Extremity, and Joint Reconstruction programs, with frequent face-to-face collaboration with orthopedic faculty.
Gainesville, with a metropolitan population of approximately 350,000, is home to one of the nation’s leading public universities and a major Division I athletic program. The area offers excellent schools, a growing technology sector, and an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities. Gainesville is located less than 90 minutes from both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts and within two hours of Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville.
