Standard Job Description

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing capital projects and serves as liaison between production operations, capital planning, and other functional leadership. Reviews status of projects and keeps track of budgets related to Munitions Acceleration efforts; works with project owners to manage schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses problems with the capital process and develops resolutions to improve productivity and performance to company objectives. Develops applications and mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, financial leaders, and senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, operations management, computer science, data analytics or a related discipline

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in project management, production operations, operations engineering, process improvement or similar roles within a large, complex orgainzation (aerospace and defense, manufacturing, or similar)

Desired Skills

• Advanced degree in engineering, business management, operations management, computer science, data analytics or a related discipline
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher)
• Web application development and requirement shaping
• Data analytics experience with large data sets, preferably with experience applying artificial intelligence in an appropriate and useful manner
• Strong quantitative skills; proficiency with statistical software and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Ability to craft clear, concise narratives for both technical and non‑technical audiences; polished written and verbal presentation skills
• Financial accumen and business knowledge
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
