The Opportunity
Moonee Valley City Council is suitably experienced individuals to join our Municipal Casual pool within the Waste & Recycling team. If you have relevant skills, qualifications and experience in particularly within street cleansing we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Skills & Experience
You will have a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively in a physically demanding, outdoor environment. You bring sound communication and teamwork skills, along with the ability to follow instructions and use initiative when completing tasks. Experience operating hand-held powered equipment such as blowers, mowers or similar tools will be highly regarded, along with an understanding of safe work practices and OH&S requirements. A current Victorian driver’s licence is essential, and you must be physically capable of undertaking manual tasks including lifting, bending and working in varying weather conditions. Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn new equipment and processes are key to success in this role.
