Job Description

We are seeking a Multiskilled Electrical Engineer to join a global leader in real estate and facilities management in Birmingham.

Job Title: Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer

Salary: £40,000 Per Annum

Location Birmingham City Centre

Role Purpose:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works on building equipment and systems, undertake small installations, and respond to engineering emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on electrical/mechanical systems per service agreements.
Conduct reactive repairs, calling sub-contractors as needed.
Complete PPM maintenance and report defects.
Update weekly equipment status reports.
Monitor sub-contractor performance and ensure work is completed correctly.
Sign off completed tasks via PDA in a timely manner.
Maintain a good relationship with client representatives.
Ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
Accurately maintain site logs and paperwork.
Participate in call-out rota if applicable.

Requirements

Recognised Electrical Qualification
C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations
C&G Test and Inspection
Knowledge of building electrical systems and PPM regimes
Familiarity with BS standards for electrical systems
Experience with health and safety and electrical systems management
