Job Description

We are looking for multiple skilled Stone Mason to
join our team in the landscape construction sector. This role involves constructing, shaping, cutting, and installing stone structures and features used in outdoor environments such as parks, gardens,
high‑end residential properties, commercial landscapes, and public spaces
across the Auckland region.

  • At least 3 years’ proven experience working as a Stone Mason or in a closely related stonemasonry trade.

Our construction projects range from high-end residential homes to complex commercial sites. This gives our team exposure to all aspects of landscape construction and stonework, helping them build a strong and future-proof career in the industry.

Duties include:

  • Cutting, shaping, dressing, and laying natural and engineered stone.
  • Constructing stone walls, retaining walls, paving, steps, stone features, and decorative elements.
  • Installing stone cladding and architectural stonework according to plans and specifications.
  • Interpreting landscape drawings, measurements, and technical construction plans.
  • Preparing and levelling bases for stone installation.
  • Mixing and applying mortar, grout, and adhesives.
  • Operating masonry tools safely and efficiently, including grinders, saws, chisels, and polishing tools.
  • Carrying out repairs and restoration work on existing stone features.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship suitable for outdoor environments.
  • Adhering to health and safety requirements on-site at all times
