The Multinational Account Handler, prepares policies requested by the Global Network Partners (GNP) and ensures premiums are collected both within stipulated timelines in order to meet the Service Level Standards of the GNPs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Policy Preparation:

• Conduct a thorough review of policy requests from Global Network Partners (GNP) within stipulated timelines

• Review GGIL’s license capabilities/restrictions for respective territory to determine whether policy can be issued

• Analyze and adjust Policy wording to ensure adherence to local regulations.

• Prepare, sign and issue Policies and other documents in keeping with approved Authority Limits within stipulated timelines.

• Address and resolve any customer complaints and/or queries promptly and communicate decisions effectively and within stipulated timelines

• Escalate unresolved queries and complaints to upline within SOPs

• Prepare and disseminate instructions to Quality Assurance to process policies on Webstar

• Ensure accuracy and efficiency of all entries made on Webstar for Fronting policies

• Monitor, update and upload documents to GNPs’ portal within stipulated timelines

• Request and follow up KYC documents/information for new business policies to ensure adherence to the company’s regulatory policies and compliance procedures.

• Ensure applicable tax/levy/stamp duty/VAT for respective territory is applied in accordance to regulations

• Prepare and submit reports as required by the established timelines

• Respond to policy issuance capability queries from GNPs for territories we handle.

2. Receivables Management:-

• Generate and Prepare monthly receivables reports (statements) on all outstanding premiums

• Ensure timely and efficient follow-up of all outstanding premiums in accordance with SOPs

• Send updated statements including feedback from local client/brokers on outstanding premiums to GNPs in accordance with service level agreements

• Investigate and Resolve unallocated payments with client and GNPs in accordance with SOPs

• Advise GNPs of monthly remittance via portal or email and provide all related payment information in accordance with SLAs

• Prepare payment Request and obtain approvals within stipulated timelines.

• Escalate >60 days outstanding premiums to upline

• Generate and prepare monthly report where required

3. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the Team Leader and Manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 5 CXC/CSEC passes including Mathematics and English Language

• 2 A’Level/CAPE subjects

• Introduction to General Insurance Certificate

• At least 2 years’ experience in the General Insurance Industry or a customer interfacing role

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:

As a regulated entity with obligations under the Know Your Employee guidelines, a Certificate of Character is required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

The Multinational Account Handler, must be deadline-driven and possess excellent customer service skills. He/she must be highly confidential and trustworthy. The incumbent must also be able to prioritize and manage work effectively, demonstrate the ability to follow instructions accurately as well as use his/ her initiative where necessary. He/she must be able to provide reliable support to the Department and be a good team player. The Multinational Account Handler must display strong work ethics and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
