The Multimedia Specialist II independently executes complex multimedia projects and serves as a key contributor to maintaining FTI’s visual, video, and production standards. This role brings advanced technical expertise, strong creative judgment, and the ability to lead portions of projects while providing guidance and support to Multimedia Specialist Is and collaborating closely with leadership.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Digital Media, Film, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on multimedia production experience in an in‑house, agency, or corporate environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom.
  • Demonstrated experience leading shoots, managing production logistics, and independently delivering complex multimedia projects.
  • Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and ability to balance quality with deadlines.

Travel: 5-10%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently executes complex video, motion graphics, photography, and post‑production projects, from brief through final delivery, using established FTI standards and workflows.
  • Leads editing, motion design, audio finishing, color correction, captioning, and final exports across multiple content types and platforms.
  • Adapts content across formats (e.g., produced, guided, UGC) while maintaining consistent visual quality and storytelling integrity per guidelines.
  • Coordinates and leads onsite video shoots and photoshoots, managing logistics such as shot lists, schedules, equipment needs, and on‑site execution under direction from Multimedia leadership.
  • Ensures shoots align with approved briefs, brand standards, safety requirements, and usage permissions.
  • Serves as a primary point of execution during production, troubleshooting issues and adjusting plans as needed to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Acts as a day‑to‑day steward of FTI’s visual and video standards, ensuring consistency across platforms, audiences, and content types.
  • Reviews work for technical accuracy, visual consistency, and adherence to established standards prior to submission.
  • Identifies quality risks or improvement opportunities and raise recommendations to Multimedia leadership.
  • Provides technical guidance, workflow support, and informal mentorship to Multimedia Specialist Is.
  • Offers constructive feedback during reviews and assists peers in developing skills, confidence, and production efficiency.
  • Models best practices in file organization, editing workflows, and collaboration.
  • Supports DAM governance by applying and reinforcing naming conventions, metadata standards, version control, and asset lifecycle practices.
  • Assists with asset preparation for archiving, reuse, and cross‑team distribution.
  • Identifies gaps or inefficiencies in asset organization and communicates improvement opportunities to leadership.
  • Assists with vendor coordination (freelancers, photographers, production partners) under leadership direction, including prep materials, schedules, and deliverable reviews.
  • Supports review and quality checks of vendor‑produced assets to ensure alignment with FTI standards.
  • Collaborates closely with Creative, Content, Strategy, and Project Management partners to deliver work on time and to spec.
  • Leads assigned portions of projects, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining high production standards.
  • Communicates proactively regarding timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
