Job Title: Multimedia Designer

Role: Freelancer

About the role:

Are you looking for an opportunity to innovate with brands? Involving the development of strategy, creative concepts, content and campaign implementation?

This role will be underpinned by passion and ambition, and those with experience in leading digital content and social campaigns within a creative agency will have an advantage.

We are hiring a Multimedia Designer to work with one of our on-site dedicated teams for a client that is into cement and building materials industry. This person will work on projects that include design and animation/motion graphics for campaigns, presentations, events, logo design and general Brand Marketing and Corporate Communication needs. The Multimedia Designer will be responsible for developing inspired concepts, designs, animation/motion graphics, and will work with the rest of the creative team to oversee each project through to its completion.

What you will be doing:

  • Must be hands on and enjoy working with a team
  • A love of design, motion graphics/animating and storytelling
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles and branding, along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Working closely with the Junior Design Team Lead and Copywriter to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
  • Willingness to accept feedback and iterate over designs in a highly-collaborative, low-ego team environment
  • Practicing curiosity, creativity, and ambition through the briefed projects
  • Exercising the ability to take a project from concept to completion, good communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential
  • Ensure final deliverables exceed design and production requirements and expectations.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 3+ years of design and animation/motion graphics experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Expertise in design and animation across all platforms
  • Must have excellent design, typography and layout skills. Attention to detail is critical
  • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
  • Safety Requirement:
    1. Adheres to policies and procedures relating to health, safety, and environment of the site
    2. Reports unsafe conditions and behaviors on the location
