Highland Homes is currently accepting resumes for a Multimedia Designer This role will conceptualize, implement, design, and produce multimedia content for all internal and external marketing for Highland Homes, Huntington Homes, and other Highland family brands. They are also responsible for maintaining and overseeing brand consistency across the board on all creative requests.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage community-level sales and marketing creative requests
    • Receive, interpret and prepare incoming creative requests for design
    • Communicate with client to resolve outstanding information
    • Continually evaluate and adjust project priority based upon workload and necessity
    • Track proof reviews, approvals, production, and communicate expected completion to key project stakeholders
    • Turn time for requests should typically be within 3-6 business days and should not exceed 6 business days unless otherwise indicated
  • Design and coordinate collateral for all internal and external projects (all cities)
    • Produce print-ready artwork
    • Abide by the marketing guidelines for creative requests from the field and home office
    • Work with Sales Counselors, Sales Managers, Marketing team, or other clients on brainstorming, copywriting, packaging, presentation, themes, and strategy
    • Work closely with external vendors/printers
  • Create edited videos for emails and social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
    • Utilize animation, motion graphics, transitions, audio, stock footage, Highland b-roll footage, photos, and text to create compelling videos including reels
    • Produce videos consistent with brand identity and company ethos
    • Work with VP of Marketing, Senior Brand Manager, Brand Marketing Coordinator, and Sr. Graphic Designer to brainstorm and conceptualize video content, messaging, and final deliverable parameters
  • Build and maintain good communications and working relationships with all employee owners
  • Produce correspondence, documents, and reports as requested
  • Provide administrative support as requested
  • Assist with other marketing projects as requested
  • Attend marketing and company events as requested; some will be evening nights and/or weekends
  • Other duties as requested

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A college degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Multimedia design, or a related field required
  • 1-year experience in Marketing or related field preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite required, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Strong computer skills in page layout and image composition
  • Proficient in video editing software specifically After Effects, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder
  • Strong visual design skills including animation, motion graphics, and video editing
  • Experience with other design programs a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including (but not limited to) PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Self-motivated self-starter who likes to take initiative
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills; ability to interact with employee owners professionally
  • Ability to focus on short-term and long-term goals simultaneously
  • Highly creative and independent, but also works well as part of a team
