Job Description

Role Purpose

The Multimedia and Media Production Assistant is responsible for producing high-quality multimedia and visual communication assets that strengthen Save the Children Cambodia’s brand positioning, campaign visibility, advocacy influence, product marketing, and donor communications.

The role ensures that all multimedia outputs — including graphics, videos, photography, and branded materials — are aligned with Save the Children’s global brand guidelines and safeguarding standards, supporting a consistent, unified brand identity across digital and print platforms.

Under the supervision of the Communications & Media Officer, the role provides structured production support for press materials, media kits, visual event branding, and media monitoring, contributing to effective public engagement and visibility while maintaining strict messaging and reputational boundaries.

This position is funded by the Building the Climate Resilience of Children and Communities through the Education Sector (BRACE) Project supported by the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The role holder will contribute to the implementation of BRACE communication and visibility requirements, including digital content development, social media promotion, stakeholder engagement materials, and donor visibility outputs, in line with Save the Children and donor communication guidelines.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Communications, Media Production, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in multimedia production or graphic design
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Graphic design for campaigns
    • Video editing
    • Social media content creation
    • Photography
  • Strong portfolio of previous multimedia work

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficiency in:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve equivalent video editing software
  • Canva (advanced level)
  • Basic animation and motion design (After Effects)
  • Photography and basic photo editing (Lightroom or Photoshop)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (for branded presentations)

Desirable:

  • Experience working in an NGO, private, or development sector.
  • Understanding of child safeguarding in media production.
  • Basic animation and motion design.

Contract length: Fixed Duration Contract (FDC).
