The FBM Program is a long standing Lockheed Martin endeavor and is continuing to grow. We are hiring a new Product Line Manager to manage the Systems SE portfolio of projects, building new consoles to replace legacy equipment and maintain and support our current suite of test equipment.

Location

This position does not support teleworking. You will need to live near our Cape Canaveral Space Force Station offsite location and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

The Role

The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth, and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. The Product Line Manager is a Leader on the LE – Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. You’ll work alongside colleagues and our customers to understand complex needs and requirements, turning them into well-engineered technical solutions.

• We need someone that can help lead our effort in:
• Managing projects and engineers to design, build, test, debug and document hardware and software products across the program lifecycle.
• Investigating problems and improving the reliability and maintainability of our systems.
• Contributing your experience to technical decisions, reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
• Mentoring junior or new staff on project.
• Will require occassional travel

To be effective in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
• Experience in all project lifecycles
• 10+ years professional experience.
• Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited college or university
• Functional management and leadership experience of teams consisting of hardware and/or software engineers
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in both development and sustainment environments
• Experience with electrical and/or software design
• Experience with complete program lifecycle milestones, e.g., proposals, kickoff meetings, TIMs, PDR, CDR, Proofing events, sell off, delivery, and project closeout
• Experience deploying staff to work projects relevant to skillsets

Desired Skills

• Ability to lead teams in both traditional and agile project management methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical, cost and schedule attributes of program portfolios.
• Previous technical experience as a Certified Principle Engineer (CPE)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in all MS Office applications, JIRA, Confluence
• Ability to develop Technology roadmaps and strategies to support Program needs
• Experience with DoD projects, customer interface, and leadership presentations
• Staff mentoring and career development

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
