This role will serve as a key partner to Multifamily leadership, helping shape business strategy through a holistic view of market dynamics, portfolio risk and profitability. The position is responsible for leading Multifamily's portfolio risk-return review process, supporting risk management activities, serving as a delegate for Financial Risk Divisional Risk Officer (DRO), and delivering actionable strategic insights.

We lead risk appetite and portfolio management activities, support financial risk management and capital planning, and develop analytics that help Multifamily optimize risk-adjusted returns and enhance portfolio performance.

Your Impact

As a Senior Manager of the Multifamily Portfolio Analytics & Strategy team, you will:

  • Develop Multifamily market and portfolio analytics to generate strategic recommendations that enhance profitability, capital efficiency, and risk-adjusted returns while supporting Multifamily business objectives.
  • Lead Multifamily's Portfolio Risk-Return Review process, develop executive-level analyses, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and facilitate discussions with senior Multifamily leadership on portfolio performance, strategy, and risk management.
  • Serve as a delegate supporting Multifamily Financial Risk DRO responsibilities, including activities related to DFAST, Capital Plan, ERCF forecasting, portfolio risk limits, risk governance, and enterprise risk management processes.
  • Lead risk appetite and portfolio loss appetite activities, including methodology development, annual limit and threshold setting, key risk indicator management, monitoring, governance, and executive reporting.
  • Lead scenario analysis, stress testing, and emerging risk assessments to evaluate portfolio vulnerabilities and inform business strategy.
  • Partner closely with leaders across Production, Underwriting, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Finance, and Enterprise Risk to provide analytical support for holistic portfolio & risk management
  • Communicate complex analytical findings, market & portfolio insights, and risk assessments to senior executives and governance committees in a concise and actionable manner.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts, fostering innovation, analytical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive improvements in analytical frameworks, portfolio monitoring capabilities, and reporting tools that strengthen Multifamily's integrated risk management approach.
  • Build strong partnerships across business functions and lines of defense to support effective governance, transparency, and risk-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in portfolio risk management, financial risk management, or strategic analytics

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred in quantitative finance, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Typically has 10+ years related experience of financial industry or consulting experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years, and preferred 4 years of people management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly written communication skills
  • Self‐motivated, with the capability of managing multiple priorities and efficient in proposing solutions
  • Prior consulting or Multifamily/ Commercial Real Estate experience is a plus

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $166,000 - $250,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
