We are currently recruiting a Multi Wet Room Fitter to join our team in Cannock.

Ideally you will live within an hours commute of Cannock so this role would suit someone who lives in Lichfield, Stafford or the Cannock area.

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Wet Room Fitter to join our team working within occupied and void social housing properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, refurbishment, and adaptation of wet rooms, carrying out high-quality work across multiple trades while delivering excellent customer service to tenants.

Responsibilities:

  • Install complete wet rooms in occupied and vacant social housing properties.
  • Carry out bathroom adaptations, including level-access shower installations.
  • Prepare floors and walls for waterproofing systems and tiling.
  • Install wet room former trays, drainage systems, and waterproof membranes.
  • Fit sanitary ware, shower screens, grab rails, and associated accessories.
  • Complete wall and floor tiling to a high standard.
  • Undertake basic plumbing, including pipework alterations and installation of showers, basins, and WCs.
  • Carry out associated carpentry works such as boxing-in pipework, door adjustments, and framework alterations.
  • Complete basic plastering, patch repairs, decorating, and making good following installation.
  • Install flooring where required, including safety vinyl with welded joints (desirable).
  • Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations, health and safety legislation, and company quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy working environment.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with tenants, housing officers, and colleagues.
  • Accurately complete job sheets, risk assessments, and photographic records using handheld devices.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns, property defects, or additional repair requirements.


You Will Need:

  • Proven experience fitting wet rooms within social housing or domestic properties.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Competent in multiple trades including:
  • Plumbing
  • Wall and floor tiling
  • Carpentry
  • Basic plastering
  • General building repairs
  • Experience working in occupied homes.
  • Good understanding of wet room waterproofing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
