About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer πŸ”§ to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bakery πŸ₯–. This is a hands-on position requiring strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement πŸ“ˆ.

Working across both day and night shifts πŸŒ™β˜€οΈ, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment and site services βš™οΈ, responding to breakdowns 🚨, and supporting site performance through reliability and efficiency improvements.

Key Accountabilities

β€’ πŸ” Diagnose and repair automation, electrical, and mechanical faults during breakdowns
β€’ πŸ› οΈ Deliver proactive and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
β€’ πŸ“Š Support and implement the site engineering strategy
β€’ πŸš€ Lead and deliver continuous improvement projects on time and within budget
β€’ πŸ“‰ Contribute to improved site performance through KPIs such as OEE and CCOs
β€’ 🦺 Maintain and promote high standards of health and safety
β€’ πŸŽ“ Provide training, coaching, and technical support to operators and fellow engineers
β€’ 🀝 Support wider site activities as required to ensure operational success
