Our client is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator I to support field production operations in the Bakken. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of upstream oil & gas production experience who are looking to expand their operational knowledge across wells, compression, production equipment, and pipeline systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating production facilities, monitoring equipment performance, performing routine maintenance activities, and working closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to maximize production and reliability.

  • Candidates above the target bill rate may be considered based on experience
  • Work locations may be in Watford City, ND or Dunn Center, ND (within approximately a 50-mile radius)
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor oil and gas production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform well operations, including:
    • Gas lift systems
    • ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) operations
    • Three-phase separation
    • Gas compression
    • Control board operations
    • Pipeline operations
  • Perform minor maintenance on valves, pumps, and rotating equipment
  • Support maintenance activities by:
    • Conducting equipment rounds
    • Taking operational readings
    • Issuing work permits
    • Following operating procedures
    • Initiating work requests
    • Writing and updating operating procedures
  • Monitor well and equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve production
  • Coordinate with support groups to optimize chemical injection rates, including corrosion, paraffin, and soap injection programs
  • Support Engineering by gathering operational and production data
  • Track compression test data
  • Conduct fluid level testing using an echometer
  • Assist fellow operators and maintenance personnel as needed
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of upstream oil & gas production operations experience
  • Basic knowledge of production equipment and field operations
  • Ability to learn company procedures and operating practices
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to safely work in a field environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:
  • Gas lift operations
  • ESP systems
  • Three-phase separators
  • Gas compression
  • Pipeline operations
  • Rotating equipment
  • Control board operations
  • Chemical injection systems
  • Work permits
  • Production optimization
  • Echometer fluid level testing
