We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team in Launceston.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality void property refurbishment works, with a particular focus on kitchen and bathroom installations within social housing properties. • Undertake a range of multi-trade activities including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting and decorating, wall and floor tiling, and basic repairs.
  • Complete kitchen and bathroom rip-outs, first and second fix works, and final finishing to a high standard.
  • Coordinate and work alongside specialist trades where required to ensure projects are completed within programme timescales.
  • Ensure all works comply with current building regulations, company policies, and health and safety procedures.
  • Use appropriate PPE and maintain safe working practices at all times.
  • Complete all works right first time, maintaining high standards of workmanship and minimising defects and return visits.
  • Record work details accurately using handheld devices or job management systems.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order.
  • Provide an out-of-hours service on a rota basis when required.

You Will Need

  • Proven experience in void property refurbishment, kitchen fitting, and bathroom installation, ideally within social housing or domestic properties.
  • Strong multi-trade skills with experience in carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and decorating.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a core trade such as Carpentry or Plumbing.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads to meet programme deadlines.
  • Good understanding of current building regulations and health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience working within social housing and delivering a high standard of customer service.

We Will Provide:

  • Excellent development and progression opportunities
  • 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Competitive salary up to £16.50 per hour.
  • Range of Salary Sacrifice Schemes [holiday purchase, EV schemes, AVC Pension contributions]
