Whatyou’lldo 

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our production site. Working in a small, skilled team (2 engineers per shift), you willbe responsible formaintainingand improving a complex manufacturing operation with nine production lines.

The mainpurpose of the job is to prevent any malfunction of the equipment, apparatus,machineryor systems that are used in the productionprocessandcarriesout tasks to prevent futuredisturbances.

Youmay also support other facilities than production, such as R&D laboratories, office facilities,as well as technical buildings (utilities) andsystems forlogisticsand storage. The job takes care of any trouble shootingin order tokeep to production process running.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns across the site, you willbe responsible forfault finding and repair across both mechanical systems and electrical/automation controls.

You willmaintainand continuously improve plant equipment, including conveyors, mixing, bagging, and packaging systems, while supporting initiatives to enhance reliability and reduce downtime. Alongside accurately recording all maintenance activities within the CMMS/EAM system, you will work closely with operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production. In addition, you will contribute to asafety-first culture within a DSEAR-regulated environment, including the handling of explosive and high-concentration materials, while supporting a highly dynamic operation producingapproximately 80–90k tonnes annually across multiple product types.  

This is a high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment with significant variation across products and processes. The facility includes mixing, blending, and packaging operations, andoperateswith stringent safety and quality standards.This roleoperateson a rotating 3-shift pattern(Early: 05:30 – 14:00,Late: 13:30 – 22:00,Night: 21:30 – 06:00).

Whowe’relooking for 

We’relooking for a capable, hands-on engineer who can work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced environment where reliability is critical.

You’ll also need:  

• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems(or ideallystrong inone, andwillingness to develop the other)v

• Experience with both planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support

• Comfortable working shifts and adapting to operational demands

• Ability to work independently as part of a small shift team 

• Experience with automation, controls, conveyors, or packaging equipmentis desirable.

• Previousexperience in high-risk or regulated environments (e.g. DSEAR, food/feed production)
