Your Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Driver based in Tilbury, Essex. The purpose of the role is to safely operate all types of the Company’s LGV’s, delivering bulk or bagged products in an efficient, cost effective and professional manner. The roles will comprise of an average 48 hour working week. The roles you will be required to work a shift pattern of any 5 days from 7 (inclusive of bank holidays). However, shift patterns may vary after consultation by the company. All roles require flexible start times and participation in the overtime working rota will be required.
Your Responsibilities
Your Profile
• A full HGV Class 1 license (with no more than 6 points), preferably have previous driving experience.
• DCPC qualification card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Comprehensive knowledge of road transport legislation (EU driver’s hours, RTD, Highway Code etc.).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to lift heavy items (i.e. 16 kg flour sacks).
• Previous bulk powder or liquid discharge experience an advantage, however full training will be given.
• The ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
• The ability to manage your time effectively, work well as part of a team and independently.
