Key Responsibilities

1. Installation Supervision & Execution

  • Supervise installation activities as per approved drawings and final revision layouts.
  • Ensure proper routing of cables/conduits and correct placement of devices, panels, and systems.
  • Verify implementation aligns with approved project specifications.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all installations meet defined quality standards during execution.
  • Coordinate with the Quality team for periodic audits and inspections.
  • Drive first-time-right execution to minimize rework.

3. System Installation & Commissioning

  • Hands-on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of:
    • CCTV Systems
    • Access Control Systems
    • Building Management Systems (BMS)
    • Fire Alarm Systems
  • Support commissioning activities and ensure readiness before system handover.
  • Possess relevant certifications for commissioning security and fire detection systems (preferred).

4. Project & Vendor Management

  • Manage project execution for fit-out projects, global customers, and key accounts.
  • Experience working in industries such as Pharma & Healthcare is preferred.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate effectively with customers, PMC, consultants, and third-party service providers.
  • Track and highlight site dependencies during meetings and ensure follow-ups for clearances.
  • Conduct daily/regular coordination meetings for issue resolution.

6. Subcontractor Management

  • Monitor subcontractor productivity and manpower deployment as per project schedule.
  • Escalate manpower requirements proactively to ensure timelines are met.
  • Ensure alignment with project milestones and execution plans.

7. Project Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare and share:
    • Weekly Progress Reports (WPR) with customer/PMC
    • Daily Progress Reports (DPR) for project-specific requirements
  • Clearly highlight progress status, upcoming plans, and site dependencies.

8. Material Management

  • Maintain material delivery trackers in coordination with project manager and procurement team.
  • Highlight delays impacting project timelines.
  • Conduct periodic material reconciliation (every 15 days):
    • PO vs Approved Design vs Ordered Qty vs Delivered Qty

9. EHS Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to JCI EHS standards and project-specific safety guidelines.
  • Monitor safety practices followed by subcontractors and site teams.

10. Variation Order (VO) Management

  • Identify and create VO opportunities including:
    • Scope changes
    • Extensions
    • Cost escalations
  • Drive VO realization (10–15% of project value as applicable).

11. Billing & Invoicing

  • Ensure timely submission of invoices.
  • Follow up with PMC/Customer for certification within defined timelines.

12. Review Meetings & Escalations

  • Participate in site meetings and proactively highlight risks and dependencies.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher levels to avoid project delays.

13. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams:
    • Design
    • Supply Chain (SCM)
    • Learning & Development (L&D)
    • Quality
    • Finance
  • Ensure seamless coordination for successful project delivery.

14. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

  • Perform pre-commissioning checks prior to testing & commissioning (T&C).
  • Ensure readiness of documentation:
    • O&M Manuals
    • As-built drawings
  • Support final system handover to client.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of IBMS, CCTV, Access Control & Fire Alarm systems
  • Hands-on site execution and commissioning experience
  • Project management and coordination skills
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Strong problem-solving and escalation management

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or related field
  • Relevant experience in IBMS / Security / Fire Systems projects
  • Experience in handling large-scale or critical projects (preferred)
