Georgia-Pacific’s Corrugatedfacility in Martinsville, VAis hiring a skilled and motivated Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicianto support our manufacturing operations. If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, working with both mechanical and electrical systems, and making a direct impact on production, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Pay:Up to $38.95/hour based on experience


Schedule:

  • Rotating 2-2-3 schedule (12-hour shifts)
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Occasional weekends, overtime, and schedule flexibility required

What You Will Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues
  • Partner with operations teams to resolve equipment problems and improve performance
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and proper machine guarding

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience performing electrical and/or mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Experience working with PLCs, motors, and drive systems
  • Willing and able to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Associate degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or related field
  • Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards
  • Experience with conveyors, power transmission systems, and rotating equipment
