EMPLOYMENT TERM: FY2026-2027 (200 Days) (7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
QUALIFICATIONS: Passed State Aide Exam; has completed a training program approved by the state board, or who holds a high school diploma or has received a general educational development certificate. Only a person classified in an Aide II class title may be employed as an aide in any special education program. Availability and willingness to ride the morning and afternoon bus routes as necessary is required.
CLASS TITLE DEFINITION (Based on §18A-4-8):
Perform duties in a support capacity including, but not limited to, facilitating in the instruction and direct or indirect supervision of pupils under the direction of a principal, a teacher, or another designated professional educator, supervision of students on school bus.
