Key responsibilities
• Execute client orders across primary and secondary cash bond markets (rates and credit), equities, listed options and futures, and equity structured products.
• Take and execute orders for direct-access clients, providing them with relevant market colour and execution-related insights within the approved framework.
• Apply best execution discipline and adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines, ensuring accurate trade terms, confirmations, and timely communication of fills to clients.
• Continuously enhance the execution workflow by collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve execution efficiency
• Maintain strong relationships with LGT’s counterparties and liquidity providers, leveraging excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Key qualifications
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant trading experience in fixed income, equities, listed options and futures and equity structured products
• Experience in handling direct trading clients for multi asset execution perspective.
• Strong knowledge of products & markets and familiarity with electronic trading platforms.
• High attention to detail, strong execution discipline, and ability to work under time pressure
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong negotiation capabilities; effective at building interpersonal relationships that positively influence business outcomes.
• Pleasant, dynamic, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Pro-technology mindset, with the ability to leverage technology to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin); Cantonese is an advantage.
