The Director is responsible for growing the ministry by praying, staffing, and funding the area through the Advancement Lanes: Ministry, Board, Donor, Talent and International. The Director works in alignment with the Regional Vice President, staff, and board(s) to fulfill the FCA Vision, pursue the FCA Mission, and live the FCA Values by developing and executing a ministry plan for the assigned area. In the FCA Sports Environment(s), the Director creates a strategic, consistent approach to discipleship -- making disciples who make disciples. The Director is accountable for ensuring that the FCA ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and adhering to FCA policies and procedures.

Core Responsibilities
oImplement a multi-channel fundraising strategy to achieve annual revenue growth goals.
oEnsure timely and impactful donor recognition and reporting.
oPartner with the local Boards and state leadership to leverage networks and relationships for fundraising opportunities.
oBuild and manage a portfolio of ~150 qualified donors/prospects with $25K - $1M+ giving potential.
oBuild donor experiences: Design and implement high-quality donor centric engagement
oSecure new multi-year pledges and develop existing donors.
oLead the State or Major Market Donor Development Team
oSubmit timely activity reports and revenue forecasts.
oImplement best practices for donor segmentation, pipeline development, and campaign optimization
oApproximately 35% off-site travel
Qualifications
Additionally, candidates should have the following personal and professional skills, qualities, and competencies.
o7+ years of professional fundraising experience at a non-profit organization of similar size and scope to FCA, with a track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals and growing a development program creatively and strategically.
oDemonstrated success securing six and seven-figure gifts from individuals and institutions.
oProven expertise operating with deep relational integrity to cultivate, solicit, and steward individual and institutional donors and partners.
oAbility to galvanize a team around a clearly articulated vision and strategy, with an eye toward cohesive team function and professional development of departmental colleagues.
oStrong analytical skills and the ability to partner effectively with data and information teams to inform donor strategy and decision-making.
oExperience collaborating with communications colleagues to deploy media and marketing strategies in service of organizational advancement.
oExcellent public presentation skills.
