About this role
We are looking for an experienced Senior MuleSoft Developer / Integration Specialist to join a large-scale enterprise transformation project focused on implementing a new Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud) and integrating it with an existing SAP landscape.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality end-to-end business processes across Salesforce and SAP environments.
Project Details
- Location: Graz, Austria
- Working Model:
- October 2026 – April 2027: Full-time, preferably onsite in Graz (hybrid flexibility is also an option with traveling to Graz).
- Later phase: Primarily remote with occasional onsite workshops, testing, and deployment support.
- Project Team: Join a lean internal MuleSoft team supporting a major Salesforce and SAP integration program.
- Team Size: We are looking for 2–3 Senior MuleSoft Integration Specialists capable of working autonomously while collaborating closely with internal MuleSoft, Salesforce, and SAP experts.
Responsibilitie
- Analyze existing MuleSoft integrations, SAP interfaces, and business processes.
- Design integration solutions following API-led Connectivity principles.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain MuleSoft APIs, including: System APIs, Process APIs, Experience APIs
- Build integrations between Salesforce and SAP.
- Develop DataWeave transformations, business rules, validations, and field mappings.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and robust error handling.
- Perform unit and integration testing and support UAT activities.
- Troubleshoot and optimize interface performance.
- Support deployments, hypercare, and production stabilization.
- Create technical documentation and participate in knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce, SAP, and MuleSoft specialists throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale integration projects.
- Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Hands-on experience with Mule Runtime 4.x
- Advanced knowledge of DataWeave 2.x
- Experience with: Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Exchange, CloudHub
- Strong understanding of: API-led Connectivity, REST & SOAP APIs, JSON/XML transformations, Event-driven integrations, Batch processing
- SalesForce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud Integration experience, including Accounts, Contacts, Leads & Opportunities, Case Management, Service Workflows, Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Subscriber & Consent Management.
- Technical Experience with Salesforce REST API, Bulk API, Platform Events, OAuth 2.0
- Experience Integrating with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC, Business Partner & Customer Master Data, Sales & Distribution (SD), Product Master Data, Service-related processes
- Technical experience with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData Services, SAP APIs
- Good level of English language (B2+). If you know German, it's a great plus.
