Job Description

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • API Development: Design, develop, and maintain APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Exchange) in accordance with established API-led connectivity standards.
  • Salesforce Connectivity: Implement real-time and batch integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using Anypoint Connectors, following defined integration patterns.
  • Data Transformation: Perform data mapping and transformations across common formats (JSON, XML, CSV) using DataWeave 2.0.
  • Unit Testing & Quality: Develop and maintain MUnit tests to validate integration functionality and ensure acceptable code coverage for all flows.
  • DevOps & Security: Support CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, and implement standard security mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 and TLS under guidance.

COMPETENCIES

Core Competencies (Must-Have):

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, API Manager, Exchange, CloudHub/CloudHub 2.0).
  • 5+ years of experience developing APIs aligned with API-led connectivity principles, including DataWeave transformations, routing, and error handling.
  • 5+ years of working knowledge in Java, XML, JSON, and RAML/OAS.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, web services, and common integration design patterns.
  • Experience with version control, code collaboration, and continuous integration systems.

Complementary Competencies (Good-to-Have):

  • Skilled in data mapping across heterogeneous systems and formats.
  • Exposure to external integrations (e.g., FTP/SFTP servers, AWS S3).
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and analyze application logs with support from senior team members.
  • Proficiency in Git, including branching, committing, merging, and pull requests.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
