of Role:

This role is responsible for developing and advancing design components for Process Design Kits (PDKs) and serves as a senior technical contributor within the organization. The individual demonstrates deep technical mastery, solving complex, novel problems through innovative approaches, and is recognized as a key technical authority. They lead and contribute to medium to large projects, mentor and coach less experienced engineers, and provide specialized technical guidance across teams and sites. The role includes active participation and leadership in cross functional initiatives, external technical programs, consortia reviews, and conference committees, as well as collaboration with suppliers. Contributions may include patents and technical publications, reflecting ongoing innovation and external technical engagement.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy design components for PDKs
• Provide best-in class, differentiated enablement tooling
• Accurately represent semiconductor processes in client Design Flows that enable successful product designs
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
• Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed

Other Responsibilities:

• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Education – BS + 6-7 years of experience or MS + 5-6 years or PhD + 3-4 years in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related fields. 
• Travel - Up to 10%
• Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Strong planning and organizational skills.

Expected Salary Range

$98,000.00 - $176,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.

The role you are applying for may require you to obtain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance at some time during your employment.
