Provides case management services under the Medicaid Alternative Care (MAC), Tailored Supports for Older Adults (TSOA), Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP), and other Senior and Independent Living Services programs in accordance with Washington Administrative Code (WAC), state policy, and program-specific requirements.

General Responsibilities (essential functions):
Required Education or Experience:
Per Washington State Aging & Long-Term Support Administration Policy, Case Managers will meet at least the following minimum education and experience requirements:
One year full-time equivalent verifiable hours through an internship or volunteer work in social services may be substituted for one year of paid social service experience in providing care management and long-term support and services to vulnerable populations. Part-time hours may be considered if the hours total one year full-time equivalent.
Individuals functioning as Case Managers prior to August 28,1991, who have performed competently as determined by their performance evaluations may be deemed Case Managers from a Washington State Area Agency on Aging when they meet the following educational requirements:

Full Wage Range: Additional wage progression may be available over time under the organization’s established compensation structure. The full established pay scale for this position is $21.65 – $57.73 per hour; however, placement above the starting wage range is not available at hire.
