Job Description

Reporting To: Factory Finance Manager / Plant Finance Lead

Location: Lahore

Key Responsibilities:

• Support factory financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, including production and manufacturing costs.
• Assist in product and manufacturing costing, including standard costing, material consumption, production yields, wastage, and cost variance analysis.
• Monitor actual factory expenditure against budgets and standards, identify key variances, cost drivers, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting, including accruals, provisions, inventory adjustments, and cost allocations.
• Assist in inventory accounting and controls for raw materials, packaging materials, WIP, and finished goods, including physical stock counts and variance analysis.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial analysis covering factory costs, production performance, inventory, and key operational KPIs.
• Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Finance teams to improve cost control, financial accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements, with proper documentation of factory financial transactions.
• Assist in developing business cases and financial analysis for cost optimization, process improvements, and capacity expansion initiatives.

Requirements:

• ACCA / MBA / ACF / ICMA – Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of costing and finance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of product costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; ERP experience will be an added advantage.
