Reporting To: Commercial Finance Manager / Tax Lead

Location: Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

• Support sales planning and analysis, including sales targets, forecasts, budgets, and performance tracking.
• Analyze sales performance against budgets, targets, and previous periods, highlighting key variances and business drivers.
• Assist in preparing and controlling advertising and promotional budgets to ensure effective utilization of funds.
• Support the planning, execution, and financial monitoring of ATL (Above-the-Line) and BTL (Below-the-Line) activities.
• Evaluate the financial effectiveness and ROI of advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Tax, and Finance teams to ensure commercial activities comply with approved budgets and applicable tax requirements.
• Prepare regular management reports, dashboards, and financial analysis related to sales, promotions, and commercial spending.
• Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.
• Assist in reviewing the tax implications of commercial activities, promotions, and transactions, under the guidance of the Tax Lead.
• Support compliance with relevant tax regulations, documentation, and internal controls.
• Assist in developing business cases and financial analyses for new promotions, campaigns, and commercial initiatives.

Requirements:

• ACCA / MBA / ACF / ICMA – Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, preferably with exposure to commercial/sales finance.
• Good understanding of sales performance analysis, variance analysis, promotional budgets, and commercial expenditure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial and business data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Marketing, Tax, and Finance teams.
• Strong MS Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools will be an added advantage.
