Role Overview: This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.
Requirements: Two (2) years of experience required.Previous Charge Experience preferred.Strong MS/Tele and Ortho skills required. EPIC charting experience required.Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Dysrhythmia certified, NIHSS.Teaching Hospital Experience preferred.Community Hospital Experience preferred.Active SC license or multistate license required.First-time Travelers accepted.
Required Clinical Skills:Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams preferredWork Settings: MS/TeleClinical Skills: Must have Ortho experience.Patient Diagnosis: Includes Med/Surg, Tele, cardiac, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, dehydration, chest pain, DVT, & PESpecial Procedures: Bedside lumbar puncture/ Post cath (radial/femoral), Clean or no interventions/ Post-surgical/Post renal biopsy/CT Angio/Heparin drips.Special Equipment: Telemetry/bedside pulse oximetry/dinamaps/glucometers.
Schedule:Shift hours: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Weekend Requirement: Every Other, 6 weekend shiftsRequired Float as needed.
