
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, troubleshoot, and monitor IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM Messaging Queue (IBM MQ) environments on Linux and AIX systems. Maintain middleware messaging and app servers for integrity, security, performance, load balancing, and capacity planning. Participate in planning, implementing and testing, and disaster recovery. Support webservice and app developers through software development. Automate deployments of apps and Web Services with Power Shell and Apache Ant. Participate in load/stress tests and scales messaging to meet performance req. Integrate IIB and IBM WAS with Oracle DB and MySQL DB by installing and maintaining proper JDBC drivers using TCPS protocols. Create, install and manage key & trust stores, and install SSL certificates for secured communications. Install/configure monitoring tools Grafana and Dynatrace. Collect diagnostic information of WAS app servers to analyze memory leaks and CPU usage, and tweak Java parameters to improve performance. Configure High Availability and Fail for zero downtime of apps during Disaster Recovery.
Requires Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, 1 year of experience in job offered, and proficiency with IBM tools (WAS, IIB and MQ), Linux, Splunk, Dynatrace, Power Shell, Apache Ant, Oracle DB, and IBM thread/heap Analyzer.
