Job Title: MS Optimization & Performance Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MS Optimization & Performance Management Specialist (JS5) to drive network optimization initiatives and enhance the performance of our 4G and 5G mobile networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing RF strategies, conducting performance analyses, and delivering recommendations to improve network quality, capacity, coverage, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify network optimization opportunities to improve coverage, capacity, quality, and user experience across 4G and 5G networks.
• Drive and implement RF strategies including:
  • 5G NSA and SA deployments
  • VoLTE and VoNR implementation
  • Voice and data mobility optimization criteria
  • Low-band LTE and 5G coverage enhancement strategies
• Evaluate RF features introduced in software releases and manage feature trials and validations.
• Perform end-to-end trace analysis using CEM, Discovery, or similar tools to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct network enhancement studies utilizing CEM, Discovery, and crowdsourced data analytics.
• Benchmark RF performance across multiple vendors and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement spectrum refarming strategies to maximize network efficiency.
• Forecast network growth and capacity requirements based on traffic trends and business demands.
• Conduct technical impact assessments for network investments, expansion projects, and modernization programs.
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations to improve network performance rankings on OOKLA and OpenSignal platforms.
• Support ad-hoc technical requests and strategic analyses for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with End-to-End (E2E) teams to resolve major network issues impacting service KPIs and customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in mobile network optimization and performance management within telecom operators or managed services environments.
• Strong expertise in LTE and 5G technologies, including NSA and SA architectures.
• Hands-on experience with VoLTE, VoNR, RF optimization, mobility management, and spectrum planning.
• Proficiency in network analytics and performance management tools such as CEM, Discovery, and crowdsourced analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of network KPIs, benchmarking methodologies, and customer experience metrics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to executive and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in multi-vendor environments (Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, etc.).
• Knowledge of OOKLA and OpenSignal performance methodologies.
• Strong presentation, reporting, and project management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced telecom environment.
