The project and your role

We are seeking a MS Dynamics Engineer to join our team. This project is focused on moving our operations to the Microsoft Dynamics platform, specifically using the Field Service module

In this role, you will help us rebuild the backend systems so they connect properly with Dynamics. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on large-scale software development and likes to build bridges between different systems to make them work better together.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics Field Service module to meet internal business needs.
  • Rebuild and optimize backend interfaces to ensure our internal systems connect seamlessly with the Dynamics platform.
  • Work closely with the AppDev team to create end-to-end solutions that are stable and easy to maintain.
  • Assist in the architectural planning of the platform transition.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Dynamics configurations and custom integrations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure the new interfaces are well-documented and follow best practices.

Your skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as an engineer with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.
  • Specialized knowledge of the Field Service module and how to configure it for complex workflows.
  • Strong background in backend development and creating interfaces that connect different software systems.
  • Experience with the Power Platform, including Power Apps or Power Automate, to extend Dynamics functionality.
  • Ability to work on large scale application development projects and adapt to changing project structures.
  • Strong analytical skills to help rebuild and point existing systems to a new Dynamics backend.
  • Proactive communication skills to work effectively with developers, project leads, and stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Knowledge (Nice to Haves):

  • Experience with C# and .NET for custom Dynamics development and plugin creation.
  • Knowledge of web application development for portals or client facing interfaces.
  • Previous experience in a "Project Team" environment working on enterprise-level migrations.
