DuPont has an immediately opening for an MRO Storeroom Leader at our Newark-Pencader, DE facility.
The MRO Storeroom Leader supports the execution and coordination of critical spares, capital spares, and MRO inventory to enable site reliability and maintenance effectiveness. This full-time role works within established maintenance and reliability strategies to apply stocking practices, support material readiness, and address inventory gaps across operations.
The role partners closely with Reliability, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to apply established materials processes, improve availability, and support risk reduction related to parts shortages and inventory performance. It provides coordination and prioritization input to storeroom operations while promoting alignment with site standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Support execution of critical and capital spares programs
Apply MRO stocking strategies (min/max, service levels)
Support materials readiness for maintenance and outages
Coordinate resolution of material shortages and risks
Provide coordination and prioritization input to storeroom execution
Maintain master data accuracy in line with established standards
Identifyopportunities to improve inventory health (excess/obsolete)
Analyze and support improvement of materials reliability KPIs
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Critical spare availability (% in-stock whenrequired)
Stockout rate (especially critical items)
Inventory turns and working capital reduction
Obsolete and excess inventory reduction (%)
Service level (fill rate for maintenance demand)
Planned work material readiness (%)
Master data accuracy (%)
Emergency purchase frequency reduction
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
One (1) year or more experience managing materials/inventory in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial setting
Demonstrated SAP experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in MRO, maintenance, or materials management environments
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence decisions
Strong analytical and decision-making capability
Experience with ERP/EAM systems (SAP)
