Job Description

Job Title: Stock Cage Attendant

Company: Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc.

Department: MRO Supply

Location: Clinton TN

Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in industrial establishment.

Position Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:

  • Issues tools, repairs parts, and safety items to members.
  • Maintains records of tools and repaired parts issued and returned.
  • Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and repaired parts.
  • Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and repaired parts.
  • Requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
  • Inspects tools and equipment for defects and wear. Reports damage or wear to supervisors.
  • Delivers tools or equipment to members.
  • Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Two (2) to four (4) years related experience and high school diploma of G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Must be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
