What You Will Do:
- Supervises a team of primarily entry and intermediate Technicians / Business Support employees, with flexibility todeterminehow assignments are completed (e.g.,objectivesand approaches to completing work)
- Sets day-to-day goals andobjectivesfor team members
- Prepares, updates and monitors performance metrics to ensure businessobjectivesare achieved
- Performs capacity planning of staff and resources to support input variations, adjusting and performing recovery plans
- Participate in hiring process of new employees, transfers, promotions, salaryactionsand terminations
- Support project management based on business needs; may berequiredto support other duties/functions within the company
- Activelyparticipatein initiatives for Root Cause/Corrective Actions using Quality tools and support
- Activelyparticipatein obtaining Quality and Regulatory Certifications
- Review and implement technical,processand regulatory documentation changes; creates or updates procedures as required
- Coordinates or provide technicians with theorical and on the job trainings, performing systematic reviews and adjustments of the plan
- Design, discuss, and implement employees’ development plans
- Participates in technical meeting with service requestors
- Assistwith new business development
- Ensures continuous improvement of Technical Service processes for maximum effectiveness and efficiency, leading and coordinating with other departments as required
- Schedules resources to ensure cost effectiveness and coordination of activities
- Performs andassistin the management of budget, staffing and or business/operations results
- Ensure employees follow the organization's policies and procedures
- Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or trainingrequired
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to interact with various stakeholders, including teams and counterparts in the United States, as well as to deliver presentations,participatein meetings, and provide updates on projects and operational metrics
- Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills by effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading technicians, and delivering clear and impactful presentations to stakeholders
- Occasional travel to the U.S. may be required depending on business needs.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree in Electronics, Mechatronicsor relatedengineeringfieldand minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- Minimum of2years of proven experience in a leadership or management role, including direct responsibility for managing and developing a team of direct reports.
- EnglishProficiency. Evidence of Englishproficiency(e.g., certifications such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent experience in professional environments) will be considered an advantage.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyze complex spreadsheets, utilize advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, nested formulas), develop pivot tables, and create data visualizations (e.g., charts and graphs) to track performance metrics, manage capacity planning, and support operational decision-making.
Qualifications We Preferred:
- Preferably with professional experience in the electronics sector or in roles within technology-driven industries, including manufacturing, electronics design, or related fields
- Proven experience working with MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) regulatory certifications and standards, such as FAA, EASA, or other equivalent aviation authority requirements, including hands-on involvement in ensuring compliance, preparing for audits, or managing certification processes
