
This is a system wide role that would require work at locations in Danville and Harrodsburg.
Performs technical procedures to obtain MRI Images of various portions of the body using standardized techniques to assist physicians in diagnosis of diseases and injuries. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORKING CONDITIONS, HAZARDS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Exposure to infectious materials, cuts, and abrasions from equipment. A flexible work schedule is required. Constant physical activity. Strenuous activity involved with moving equipment and patients. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently.
CONTACTS WITH OTHERS:
Patients, visitors, physicians, and all other departments within the facility.
EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to operate MRI equipment and computers.
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years as MRI Technologist preferred.
Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Inc.
Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technologists or an MRI accredited program.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Techs. Must maintain current KY Radiation Operators General Certificate from the Department of Human Resources. (MRI Registry completed.)
$33.25 - $49.34 per hour based on experience. $10,000 sign on bonus. 12.5% night shift diff. 5% weekend shift diff.
