MRI Technologist

FlexStaff is seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our client’s innovative Radiology Diagnostic Department. Responsibilities:

  • Perform state-of-the-art MRI procedures with precision and confidence
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding
  • Provide compassionate care, easing anxiety and maintaining patient privacy
  • Position patients and operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize results
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring safety and functionality
  • Utilize advanced computer systems, including PACS and RIS, for smooth workflow
  • Administer contrast media safely and effectively, following all protocols
  • Be a vital part of emergency response when needed, demonstrating quick thinking and expertise

Qualifications:

  • Certified MRI Technologist with NYS Licensure and ARRT Certification
  • Valid Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in MRI
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and radiology procedures
  • Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records
  • BLS certification and excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish or second language) are a plus!
