As an MRI Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality greatly enhance the success of MRI imaging for diagnostic use in patient care at RRH Radiology. Performs technical and specialized skills in the operation of a Magnetic Resonance (MRI) Scanner to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Operation. Perform a variety of routine and advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures while monitoring and maintaining essential patient safety under general supervision
Patient Care. Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients throughout the MRI area; educate patients regarding their procedure and maintain a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for the patient throughout the exam
Documentation. Transfer imaging data for archiving and post-data processing; maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or completion of a Radiologic Technology hospital certificate program.
NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) required within 6 months of employment.
NYS Injection Certification within 6 months of employment.
BLS Certification within 6 months of employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
