MRI Tech - MRI
PRN - Varied shift/schedule
Operates MRI equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologists and performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, the MR technologist performs scans of selected portions of the anatomy as requested by the physician.
Requirements:
Associate's degree from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required, or higher.
Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy preferred.
Two years of experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imagining facility preferred.
BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire
