In this vital support role, you’ll assist MRI Technologists with non-clinical tasks, help clarify physician orders, and ensure a smooth, efficient patient experience. Your professionalism, organization, and compassion will make a meaningful difference in both patient care and daily workflow.

Schedule & Location

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
4-day workweek - every weekend is a 3-day weekend
No weekends, holidays, or call requirements
Location: Fairfax, VA

What You’ll Do
As an MRI Tech Aide, you will:

Provide outstanding service to patients and families while explaining MRI procedures clearly and compassionately
Set up MRI suites for exams and assist patients with safe transfers to and from imaging tables
Start IV access prior to procedures
Ensure patient comfort, modesty, and safety throughout the imaging process
Communicate with physician offices to clarify and complete MRI orders
Confirm critical exam details including body part, laterality, and contrast use
Request order modifications when appropriate to support accurate imaging workflows

What You’ll Bring

1+ years of experience in a medical or radiology office preferred
IV start experience highly preferred
Experience in one of the following roles preferred:
- Medical Assistant
- MRI / CT Tech Aide
- ED Tech
- EMT or Paramedic
- Nursing Student (after first clinical rotation)
BLS certification required upon hire
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication skills and a caring, professional demeanor
