Job Description

Job Duties:Diagnose and repair GE and Siemens MRI RF coils (head, spine, body, extremity coils, etc.)Perform electrical, mechanical, and RF troubleshooting on coilsTest repaired coils to ensure OEM performance standardsMaintain accurate service records and documentationCollaborate with MRI technologists and biomedical staff to minimize downtimeAssist with preventive maintenance and inventory management for coils
Education and Experience:Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience repairing GE and Siemens MRI coilsBMET certification or equivalent biomedical engineering backgroundExperience with multiple coil types, including phased-array coilsFamiliarity with MRI system integration and safety standards
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to read schematics and perform detailed diagnostic workStrong understanding of RF electronics, coil circuitry, and signal integrityExperience with coil testing equipment and QA proceduresExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:This position requires standing for potentially long periods of time. May be required to occasionally lift 50 lbs. Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good manual dexterity and the ability to be readily understood are essential. Must be able to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
