
About MR PORTER

We are currently looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team and help deliver an exceptional breakfast experience to our guests.
The Role
As our Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting breakfast dishes to the highest standard. You’ll work independently or with a small morning team to ensure guests enjoy a fresh, elegant, and perfectly timed start to their day.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast items according to MR PORTER standards
Set up and maintain a clean, organised breakfast station
Monitor stock and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Assist with mise-en-place and daily prep for the wider kitchen team
Maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with HACCP guidelines
Communicate effectively with service and kitchen colleagues
Ensure consistency and quality in every dish served
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a (breakfast) chef or cook
Passion for high-quality food and precision in preparation
Able to work early shifts, including weekends
Strong sense of responsibility and time management
Able to work independently and under pressure
Living in or near Amsterdam
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
EU passport or valid work permit for the Netherlands
