Shipping & Receiving Co-Ordinator
Ensure the smooth flow of materials from Suppliers to production lines and final customer delivery.
As Shipping and Receiving Coordinator you will support the Materials, Planning & Logistics function in managing the flow of raw materials, consumables and finished product for the Widnes site.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the MP&L function to reach OTIF business target
Support the co-ordination of outbound shipments with Warehouse Team
Support the co-ordination of outbound shipments with Forwarders for Domestic shipments, International Road, Ocean and Air Freight shipments
Create all shipping paperwork including Quality Certificates
Support the Daily/Weekly Production Plans
Support the co-ordination of inbound shipments by checking stock levels and run rates on a daily basis
Support transfers between plant and warehouse including external warehouses.
Support cycle counts and manage warehouse related entries to ensure accurate inventories to meet customer demands.
Support the management of waste disposal and associated procedures by liaison with environmental/waste organisations.
Follow all Safety and Environmental regulations as well as company core values.
Work directly with the central customer service team to support MP&L function at WIdnes
Performs other duties/tasks as assigned.
Assist with warehousing tasks when required
Qualifications:
3+ years supply chain support experience.
Proficient user of SAP
Proficient user of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
Excellent written/verbal communications, strong attention to detail and analytical/problem solving skills
Strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Must be able to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
Import and Export knowledge preferred but not essential.
Ability to take initiative to solve problems.
Strong effective team player
Flexibility to cover fluctuating demand within a small team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
