Mower Operator – Boroondara

• Moorabbin Depot
• Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.36pm
• Possibility for overtime dependent on volume of work

About the Role:

Citywide are recruiting for a Mower Operator to join our Boroondara mowing team. This role will see you operating commercial Ride-On Mowers, Brush Cutters and Blowers, as well as undertaking general parks, gardens and street scapes maintenance.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed control
• Safely operating and maintaining machinery
• Ensuring all work is accurately recorded
• Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery
• Demonstrating initiative/continuous improvement

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to operate commercial Ride-On mowers, brush cutters etc.
• General horticultural knowledge
• Knowledge of herbicide application techniques
• Team orientated, highly motivated and able to follow instructions
• Knowledge and appreciation of OH&S
• Current Victorian Manual Driver’s licence
• Chemical Certificate
• Traffic Management experience
• First Aid Certificate
• MR Licence
• Flexibility to work overtime including weekends
• Working with Children Card (Mandatory)
